In Text or Die, players are competing with other AI characters. All characters will stand in the middle of a sea, and there will be one block beneath their feet. Word puzzles will be released one after another and the more you hit the right answer, the more blocks there will be under your feet so you won’t get drowned in the water. However, if you give the wrong answer, the block beneath will disappear and you are doomed to fall into the ocean and die once all the blocks are gone. Therefore, the game is all about the storage of the vocabulary of players. What makes it even worse, sharks are swimming around so your fall means that you will be eaten up by those sharks.
